FMP - Year 2

My aim during this project was to create an atmospherical scene inspired by artistic elements I was inspired by. For example I was heavily inspired by Studio Ghibli which explains the references in the scene as well as the Japanese architecture and ambience. I was also inspired by artists such as the likes of Alexander Harding or Sandro Bisaro when it came to lighting and composition. I also took influence from real places in Japan such as Shibuya Nonbei Yokocho or Harmonica Yokocho.

FMP - Year 1

The aim of this project was to create a horror themed architechtural visualisation. I based my work (and the outside model) off of Hotel Cecil in America which is famous for unusual, strange and dark events that have happened in it.  I was also heavily inspired by horror games, particularly those prominent in the early 00s, one of which being Silent Hill 4: The Room. As my work was set in a hotel, I designed an eerie hotel room to make the viewer feel claustrophobic and on edge. . Even though the assets were simple I attempted to twist them with the use of (mainly blood) stains, warm colours, rough textures etc.

Product Design

The theme of this project was to create a product visualization based on a normal house hold object, however it had a twist which was to turn this object into some sort of gadget. I sketched my design after researching and then modelled it in Maya. I then textured and rendered it using Substance Painter. 

Tudor Town

The goal of this project was to model a scene inspired by an architechture of my liking, and then import it into Unity.
